- Canteen Menus, 2009

"With the introduction of Certificate II in Hospitality in 2008, we used the Canteen as the student business. It was a very successful venture and therefore in 2009 we will operate the Canteen under the same scheme.

"Most, if not all, items sold will be 'homemade' and healthy - following the guidelines of 'all foods in moderation'. The VET Hospitality students operate the canteen at recess and under supervision prepare a number of the foods sold. This is part of their VET learning.

"We still require volunteers to help out during the lunch break. This allows the students to have a lunch break. The tasks are easy, no preparation or cleaning, simply serving and just from 1 - 2 pm! …

"All lunches are made to order, which avoids waste and ensures freshness. It is important your daughter remembers to order her lunch before the end of recess…"
