"In 2008, Lisa Inglis approached School Council with a proposal
to revive the school canteen. The canteen was without a co-ordinator
and had few volunteers for 2008.
Lisa's proposal was to run the canteen voluntarily to get
the canteen up and running and then come back to school council
with figures to see if it was a viable proposition.
If it worked, then Lisa would draw a wage whilst still returning
a small profit to the school.
Lisa completely revamped the canteen. New procedures were
introduced along with many new items and much excitement from
the students."
