"I write to support the nomination of Sophie Manolios
for Canteen Manager of the Year.
Sophie makes an outstanding contribution to our school community
with the efficient manner in which she co-ordinates our school
tuckshop. St Peter's is a school of over 600 children and
fifty staff that operates 4 days a week. At times, Sophie
has to run the day on her own when parents are unable to attend.
Sophie not only provides an efficient and healthy tuckshop
but also has an outstanding manner with the children. Nothing
is ever too much trouble, even a Principal forgetting lunch
and asking at 1.30 what is there for lunch?
Sophie adds so much to our school community and we as a school
are richer with her being here and working together with us
for the welfare of children and families."
- Michael Juliff, Principal
"We have nominated Sophie for Canteen of the Year because
of the time and effort she has put into supplying lunch orders
and when she opens the canteen.
Sophie has been here for over 10 years and the students here
at St Peter's think she is a great person and we are all so
proud of her.
An example of how caring Sophie is, is when she will let
kids pay for something the next day if they don't have enough
money.
That's why we feel that Sophie should be nominated for canteen
of the year!"

"She is very caring and she does a lot.
She always greets us with a smile as we arrive at the window
and always helps us with money.
Sophie has made a great contribution to our school because
she has been here for over 10 years.
We thank her very much for her hard work and giving up time
to work at our canteen for four days of the week."
