"Our volunteer canteen manager at Bundoora Primary School
is Karen Dear. Her 110% commitment, loyal dedication and A+
service brings a grateful tear. Hard work, daily duties and
responsibilities she has no fear. When late lunch orders arrive
she takes this all calmly in her stride.
School Council, Principal, teachers and parents all kow Karen
has a heart of gold and works doubly hard - a volunteer classroom
helper twice a week, stay at home mum with two children and
a family!
This canteen boss is no meanie - she is lots of fun and very
talented too! Likes to knit and crochet Alice Springs beanies!!!
Week after week, term after term her only reward is seeing
the kids' smiles at the canteen window. Karen introduces new
healthy food on the canteen menu. A caring mum and wants to
see our kids grow strong and healthy. We love and embrace
our superhero because she gives the best canteen service in
the world.
