"Sheena has volunteered her time for the past 8 years on
a voluntary basis. She comes in at the beginning of each week
for several hours cooking muffins etc for the children to
buy at recess. She fills in at a moment's notice for normal
parent helper canteen duties and has at times covered for
our manager when she has been unavailable. Sheena is always
cheerful and helpful and deserves to be rewarded for her tireless
efforts."

"Sheena is a tireless canteen volunteer at Echuca East Primary
School. For the past eight years, Sheena has spent every Monday
in our canteen. She bakes muffins, hedgehog and chocolate
truffles to sell at recess. Her baking is so popular with
our students we have had to enforce a limit on the amount
each can buy! On those weeks that Monday is a public holiday,
Sheena always changes her schedule so she can come in the
next day to do her cooking.
"If my rostered canteen helper is unable to make it,
Sheena is always there to assist. If I ever need someone to
manage canteen on a day when I am unable to get there, again
Sheena is always available to help out.
"Sheena also attends trade shows and has obtained all
appropriate food handling qualifications in her own time -
in addition to working and raising three children!
"I thank Sheena for all her help and her ever cheerful
company in the canteen. Even if Sheena doesn't win this award,
she is definitely Echuca East Primary School's canteen volunteer
of the year."
